THE ROSENBACH REBRAND

The Rosenbach is a Philadelphia historical museum and library that contains nearly 400,000 rare books, manuscripts, and historical objects. Their mission is to foster education and creative learning for individuals through their various exhibitions, programs, and research.

This rebranding project is an evolution of its current branding system, preserving core elements and elevating its visual presence.

The rebrand aims to provide a fresh perspective on the library’s rich history by integrating traditional and modern elements, establishing recognition, and attracting new visitors.

The emblem is inspired by The Rosenbach's architecture, books/bookshelves, and their original logo's "key" element. It has equal weight to the logo type to create balance to the overall logo.
